Our Team
The Love Brother team is made up of passionate volunteers, industry specialists and professionals from across the creative, wellbeing, and mental health sectors. Each person has been hand-selected to help advise and guide Love Brother in our activities and expand our community wellbeing expertise.
Made with love, sweat, and tears.
Bob Jones
Founder
Bob developed the idea for LOVE BROTHER
following his own experience with mental health, namely depression and anxiety, noting there was a real lack of male-specific services and spaces, outside of charities. He and Deano
came together to host a charity event for
homelessness. This sparked the beginning
of a new ambition to do more to
support men’s mental health and the community of
men searching for answers to difficult questions.
Bob is a Creative Director and Agency owner with
over 15 years experience in brand design and
marketing. Bob has worked in creative agencies for over 15 years for a host of global brands including Bacardi, Netflix,
Disney, Bombay Sapphire, Universal and loves using creativity as a force for good.
Deano Jo
Co-Founder
Deano is a counsellor and entrepreneur.
For 20 years, Deano helped shape and support the cultural landscape of London's nightlife and arts scenes. After DJing in his teenage years, Deano started the infamous collective REAL GOLD, known for both promoting events and talented creative people. The Independent said Deano was one of “the 15 people who will define the future of arts in Britain”.
He founded The Alibi nightclub in Dalston when he was just 23 years old. From then, Deano powered on to build further success with an exciting mix of hospitality businesses and cultural startups. Whether in the form of a craft brewery or a publishing fair, a nightclub or a record label, Deano is acutely aware of the power and joy in bringing people together.
